How can I become a member of Coinection?
As soon as you have bought your first coins, you can start creating your profile – or you can link your 6-digit personal code directly to your homepage.
Who can see my profile at Coinection?
You can decide whether only those people who know your 6-digit code can view your profile (i.e. people you have given a coin to) or if your profile is also accessible by entering a specified internet address. You can make – and change – this decision at any time, at "My Coinection", "Manage codes".
What can I show in my profile?
In your profile you can post photos, set links to any other websites you’d like to refer to, post texts, or attach documents for downloading. In future you will be able to upload video and audio files as well, where you can (for instance) welcome people you’ve given coins to. You can also create various sub-pages in your profile and use them for different topics such as 'My hobbies', 'My family', 'My interests'.
What content can I not show in my profile?
You can show anything that isn’t barred by our Terms and Conditions or prohibited by law. If it seems sensible, use the option of having your profile accessible only to people you have given a coin to personally (e.g. for personal content).
Can I create more than one profile?
You can create a profile for every coin set you order. If you want to use several profiles, you have to order a separate coin set for each one. But in an individual profile you also have the option of creating several sub-pages which you can devote to different subjects.
Will my profile remain accessible when I order new coins?
Yes, your profile will remain accessible. There is no expiry date. But with every coin set you order, you get the option of creating a new profile.
Do I have to create a new profile for every coin set?
No, but you can if you want to. You can assign a separate profile to each code, or you can assign several codes to the same profile.
Do I get a new code when I order more coins?
Yes. Every coin set has its own personal code. You can decide if people will land on your existing profile when they enter the new code, or if you want to create a new profile for the new code.
Can I order a particular 6-digit code?
That's not possible right now, but we will try to offer that option in future.
Can I reorder coins that have my 6-digit code?
That's not possible right now, but we will try to offer that option in future. In "My Coinection" under "Manage codes" you have the option of linking a new code to your profile along with the existing code. Then your profile will be displayed when both codes are entered.
Where can I order coins?
You can only order coin sets (with 50 coins each) online at coinection.com. Click on "Order coins’ in the menu and place the order.
Does Coinection deliver to countries outside Germany too?
We will soon be offering deliveries in specified countries.
What quantities can I order coins in?
Every coin set contains 50 coins with the same personal code. You have the option of ordering multiple coin sets using the online order form at "Order coins ".
How long will it take to deliver the coins?
If you pay by debit card or credit card, your coin set should usually be sent on the day after you ordered it. With prepayment, the delivery will be made once the payment has been received. We have no control over how long the mail takes; usually, you should find the coins in your mailbox within a couple of days.
What methods of payment does Coinection accept?
In Germany, prepayment (bank transfer), credit card and deduction from your account through a debit card are all accepted. Outside Germany, advance payment or payment by credit card is possible.
Where do I find my personal code?
In a coin set there are always 50 coins with the same personal code. You’ll find the code on the back of each coin.
